Summer time is coming. Seasonal flowers are flamboyant everywhere. Maybe it is the best time to visit hometown or travel to special places. For us, students in highland, summertime is a period to work hardly with our parents on the fields. The summer courses seem to be unrealistic dreams for us. While our same-age friends in the city are eager to learn and play, but we here just go around and sometimes help our parents. Be aware of our situations, father Viet has organized an interesting summer course for us with many activities and new lessons.

Although this is a summer course, we don’t have to pay anything. All teachers are voluntary to teach and accompany us despite dangerous road or difficult situations. All is love. The teachers still work hard in both shining days and rainy ones to provide us the best in studying. For me, sometimes I felt stressful and uncomfortable to understand the hard lessons. However, with their careful instructions, I could understand gradually. They helped us to be more confident to start the next schoolyear with beautiful memories in summer. They inspired me to take on my dreams which I have to forget for a long time.  In addition, we have milk and bread at break-time of each day by generous support of donors. We are happy because we are loved.  I’m also happy because our parish has a good pastor who always try to find out how to create better conditions for our life. Each of us reminds oneself to try our best to respond to the support of our pastor, our teachers and our families. I would like to apologize to all for what I made them sad. I am so sorry for not concentrating on my lessons, throwing rubbish on the ground of the church which should be clean and holy. Specially, we recognized that we not only learn the knowledge here, but we were also educated how to behave well and how to live in harmony with others – Father Viet is our ideal educator in this field. I would like to say thanks to him many many times. I wish to have the same opportunities for next summer course. I also hope the teachers would come back Kon Jơdreh parish to make our dreams come true. Now, I am so satisfied with the summer course I have taken. We spent pleasant time and had beautiful memories of past 2 months. My summer is a blessing. I will bring them to enter the next school year. I would like to send thanks to the pastor, the teachers and the sponsors for their love and their support. Through this course, I have found that education is the gateway to better options and opportunities. Again, many thanks for a meaningful summer!
